How does Overkeep see what my agents are doing?
Your agents (or the services wrapping them) send logs, status pings, and usage events to Overkeep's ingestion API using an org API key. Overkeep turns that into live agent health, alerts, and cost dashboards — no code runs inside your infrastructure.
What counts as a security event?
Anything you tag with SECURITY severity when logging — prompt-injection attempts, unexpected tool calls, data-exfiltration patterns, auth failures. Alert rules can page your team the moment one comes in.
How is AI cost tracked?
Each usage event you send (or that we pull from a connected provider key) records tokens and provider cost. Overkeep rolls that up per agent and per org, and can alert you before you blow through a monthly budget.
Can I set a budget alert?
Yes — set a monthly budget on your org and a COST_THRESHOLD alert rule; Overkeep raises an alert as you approach and exceed it.
How do I remove a teammate's access?
Removing someone from your org immediately revokes their dashboard access. If they also had infrastructure access (GitHub, Vercel, your DB), revoke those separately — Overkeep only controls access to Overkeep.
